Learning, Teaching, and Training activities:

It is expected that the completion of LTT activities will lead to the achievement of the objectives. The activities and the objectives related to them can be listed as follows:

1. LTT: There will be a kick-off meeting, seminars on the perception of minorities, a Web 2.0 tools course, and the introduction of the eTwinning project. These events are all about the objectives below:

- To be able to understand the feelings of others
- To be able to develop teachers' teaching and guidance skills

​

2. LTT: There will be a workshop on how to build inter-group relationships, selecting the project logo, a festival of world cuisines, folk tales activity and a seminar about the problems of immigrants/refugees. The objectives related to these activities are: 

- To be able to learn not to distinguish others according to their belief, gender, race, color, language or religion
- To create intercultural dialogue

3. LTT: There will be a debate on history and legends, a quiz show related to the traditions and festivities, celebrating “World Refugee Day” and sharing the examples of traditions belonging to different cultures. Related objectives are:

 

- To learn and understand cultural differences
- To be aware of the negative consequences of prejudices and stereotypes

 

4.LTT: There will be activities about traditional children's games, dramas, sports events organized for the social integration of students. Related objectives are:
-To be tolerant of others
-To enable refugee/immigrant students to be more active through the activities involving social integration

5. LTT: The participants including teachers and students will visit local settlements where minorities live, do street interviews to learn public view, a workshop on the features of minorities (creating word clouds-designing t-shirts) and debate about multi-layers of identity. Related objectives are:

​

- To raise empathy for others coming from different cultures, ethnicity
- To increase the awareness of the school community and other stakeholders towards refugee/immigrant students

​

6. LTT: There will be an activity on preparing a multilingual glossary, celebrating "World Day for Cultural Diversity", folk dance show and an exhibition of traditional ethnic costumes. Related objectives are:

- To understand cultural diversity
- To use English as a common communication language 
- To increase the level of English proficiency through the activities
